Irving's New Concrete Park

The End of an Era

The Banana Farm ramp in Austin has been dealt the final blow.

Site filmer and BF resident Chris Sumers puts it like this,"We have seven days to get the ramp torn apart. The landlord has been contacted by the City of Austin and threatened a $2000 fine if we do not remove the structure by the end of next week."

The ramp has become legendary over the past few years and we are sad to see come to this. Post up your comments.

History Lesson

The time has come for a lot of you to do your homework. Girl has just released a 5 DVD box set, 4 classic videos and a bonus disc, the timing could have been better, I haven't had a VCR for about 2 years. If you haven't seen these videos, there is a very good chance that you have no clue what skateboarding is all about. Pick up a copy in the 4D store, and be sure to watch all the bonus features.
